Misc ARM7 PATCH RUINS COD5 WIFI?

Hey, I'm using and r4 and after patching call of duty world at war to make it work I cannot connect to wifi.

It just stays on the connecting screen for ages and does nothing. Is there any way of fixing this?

my one works without any patch
