Hi, I present you my first homebrew game called AriaDS.
It's inspired by a flash game, called "Spike Tend To Kill You" by Noxious Hamster.

The goal is to reach the end of the level in minimum time while avoiding the many traps.
There's actually a few levels. I'm planning to make a Level Creator on PC/MAC.

There's a few bug in this version, don't pay attention to it.

You can download the early game there:

Nice game

I like it's "simple" feeling. The orange/green color theme is very pleasing.

I have two things you could improve:

- I found it too hard/frustrating. Spikes kill you too easily, you could probably make the collision bounds a little bit smaller...
- There are some bugs (I know you said you're aware of them in the first post, I'll just tell you in case you didn't notice these particular ones): In the very first area, if you press and hold Left and then jump, you get stuck "into" the wall

Here's a little video with the finished menu and some level:

This looks excellent. I'm looking forward to more levels.

I certainly like the simplicity, but the physics made it a bit frustrating. Depending on how many levels there are going to be, you may want to make the earlier ones easier, or change the collision bounds.
Also, I somehow found a bug where if you jump right at the start and go left, you leaved the screen and become unable to do anything.

Looks great. It reminds me of N.

Also, are you using the font used in the Pokemon games?

Hi, I released the final version ( not finished ) of AriaDS. I couldn't finish the hombrew because I had to
work for my physic/math exams at the university.

The menu and 3 level are done.
I leave the version as it is. If someone ask, I'll release my sources =)
