hey, i wanted to know something, are they still releasing firmware updates for the original r4ds? the first one, the one that is not sdhc, cuz i heard that the r4team got sued but i see these new r4 cards and the new website? is this the original r4team or what?

No they are not, those are clones. Best thing to do would be to use YSmenu.

YSMenu fixes the problem with R4's firmware not being able to read large cheat codes and it has a wider range of games supported.
Since YSMenu is still being developed, it will also support games in the future.
