I've been using Mupenx64 on the Switch and Goldeneye 007 is too laggy and slow. Is there a different N64 emulator for the Switch?

That's a bummer, because I can't play 007 at full speed right now which is weird because I'm pretty sure the Switch can handle it
Goldeneye is notorious for being hard to emulate.

I *think* that guy M4xw has made a Mupen 64 build that can run Goldeneye decently on very specific settings. But it's locked behind a Patreon paywall ($1 or something) maybe do a search for that.

Yeah I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the info!

Goldeneye is kinda sucky for rn. Once people figure out injects for the official N64 emulator, I bet you'll see some improved results.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
