if your on a fw higher then 3.0 (i think its higher then that) you have to open up your system and do a small less then a min hardmod bridging some test points is what i was told by some one on Kate's stream. But kate told every one it takes less then a min to do.

Hopefully we have to do no more than a few screws to pull off the back to access the solder points. I hate disasembling electronics less than 3 years old :/

she says it was as easy as taking the screws out and taking the back off or something along the lines of that (trying to go by memory) I did not ask her or any one if we had to take the board out so don't know if there is any more too it but if i would have to take guess if it takes min or less then i would say you just have to take the back off to do it.

Hope the new revision is "just" a revision and not the "new" Switch or something similar.
Early adopters would feel screwed by that.

They are trying to stealth the updated SoC revision, so we might not even be able to tell exploitable Switches by serial numbers or anything.
