Hacking Anyone tried a SDXC card formatted as Fat32 on the Wii U?

Do not try this, you'll fuck it and make it like 32 gb or somthing....

Edit: actually I may be wrong it seems that alot of ppl format to fat32 cause exfat messes with mp3 tags or something.

Well, doing that works just fine with the original Wii (at least for homebrew, I've heard conflicting reports about the system menu)

I think the usual warnings about not formatting the normal way is that some computers that haven't been updated to use exFAT yet will try to format them to NTFS and, of course, a camara or MP3 player is going to be expecting FAT32 or exFAT.

For all practical purposes, though, the physical addressing system used in SDHC and SDXC is the same and a FAT32 format makes them cross compatible unless the device just has a cap on how many GB it supports no matter what the format.

The Wii U SHOULD work fine, though, for Wii Mode (Wii U mode has very little use for SD cards anyhow.)
