ROM Hack Question Anybody tried Sx os cheat search with exfat

would the SD card still get corrupted if it's formatted to FAT32 and im loading the xci through an external hard drive or the hard drive end up being corrupted?

I THINK thats safe - I'm pretty sure the memory dumps are written to the SD even if you have a USB drive hooked up. So as long as its FAT32 (SD Card), should be good.
I can't test to see if I'm correct or not though.
You could test it out yourself though.
SXOS will warn you if it's going to dump/use ExFAT partition.

It works but it never gave me any warning so I assume it was ok. I just used a spare SD card to test and did a few searches and so far no corruption.

if you only use the Exact Search function (do not use Any Value search) then it shouldn't corrupt on exfat , but don't quote me on it, I 've only been using exfat search for a week

Just wondering if anybody has tried to use the sx os cheat search with an exfat formated micro sd card and if they had have they ran into any problems with it
