So, I had a weird error playing shadow wars today, the screen went half-sized then after 1.2 seconds horizontally lined, then all black.
Later on today I got the black screen of death.
So I read up on when the errors were occuring, and two things come up:
1. it's mostly ubidoft, but it happens in friends list, face raiders and a bunch of other applications too, so while ubisoft games seem to exasperate the situation, it's not the cause.
2. Everyone who has the problem and posted about it had the internet switch ON, and say turning it OFF stops them from getting the error.
Could it be a callback to Nintendo wrongly marking what you're playing as homebrew or pirated software?
Given all Nintendo have said was it's advanced and the most technologically advanced anti-piracy they've ever done, it's possible.
Does anyone have any packets during and before the BSOD?
