Unlike others here, I really like the idea behind the logo. The way the 'H' forms a DS is very clever, but I'd personally remove the 'THEmes' bit on the left side of the graphic.
When we first started, we mainly focussed on 3ds themes, that is why the "themes" part is in the logo.
We still plan on expanding to themes, but we're looking into how to do it without being an asshole against 3dsthem.es

I haven't gone through the whole thread, but if you need a place to host files, I can open some space for you where I host d0k3's hourlies, for free.

We've chosen to use the developer's github release page as a download link so that we do not need to host files, + so that we can always provide the latest version that is released. Thanks though, we appreciate the offer!

Yes but you still need a place to host the php/html files and such, no?
EDIT: I have 4TB bandwidth per month so no problems. Zero charges for you guys. With your domain. :P

I have a server for over 2 years now and I could host webspace, MySQL or even just a mirror for the downloads, if you want to.

EDIT: For free ofc

I appreciate the offer, but we're gonna stick with what we've got for now.

The only thing that we currently save, is the username of the developer, and application names. every 30 minutes, a php scripts executes, and scans the release page of each developer's applications (that we saved).
From this release page we cache the different versions, the contents of the release, date, downloads, ....
When someone visits the website, we call up our cache (a list of all the homebrew applications visible, with their data), and we filter out every application with a CIA (or 3DSX) in it.
We take the download url, and put that inside the get request of an online qr code generator as the url for the images.

so the images you see would be something like www.qr-code.generator.com/generate?url=github.com/developer/application/releases/versionnumber/filename.cia

However, we thought: what if someone saves this image? people will be using old downloads. So what we did is make this service:
www.homebrewhub.xyz/latest/cia/ShinyMK/JKSMK
(www.homebrewhub.xyz/atest/cia/<developer>/<application>).
Which will scan our data, and point to the latest download.

Edit: We use the github api

Ahh Get requests. Kk, Thanks.
P.S: 30 minutes is way too low. Make it once every 12 hours or rip servers tbh
It'll be fine once i spread them out over 30 minutes instead of all at the same time each 30 minutes

Thats even worse, That means pretty much at all times the servers strength is lowered somewhat, May not be noticeable but not all lag is noticeable.
The server load time for each request (except for once every 30 minutes) is less then 1ms.
This evening i'm gonna make it a threaded background progress (not triggered by the web server) and you shouldn't experience anything bad at all.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Check the github API. It has some realtime stuff which can eliminate manual processes.
We're using the Api, I specifically didn't use API in my explanation because i didn't want to confuse some less IT related people, sorry for the confusion
