I really love how clean it is but I don't know the purpose of some of the home brews, I really love you could add a short description of the apps
The problem with this is, We take the homebrew applications, and their downloads based on a github user.
We've chosen for this to make it self-updating. if we would add a description, then someone has to enter it by hand.
However, we're planning on creating some sort of detail view where you can also read the ReadMe from github.

Why isn't there a Donate Button anywhere (if seen easily anyway)?

Maybe there wouldn't be a need to add any advertisements.

When clicking on anything nothing happens FYI.

Thanks for this by the way.

One of our goals is to support the developers as good as best as we can.

Wouldnt hosting on github.io or another free subdomain be easier ?
On github.io wouldn't be possible, we need to be able to use a server side language to receive the latest homebrew application.
We also want to offer a service as good as possible, and we feel like using a free server would be putting this in risk.

If you feel like supporting us on another way then using our service, you can always support the homebrew developers :-)

Looks nice, though I don't like the logo. Should be more simple imo.

Also, need source repo. ;)
When we recoded this project a few days ago we used my personal backend framework.
I have no trouble open sourcing all files that don't belong to the framework, and we probably will.

why not a bit of both
We advertise to survive & We advertise & donate to the developer, basically just keep ads up all the time, each month deduct server costs (which really shouldnt be all that much if everything is hosted on github) then either split the rest between dev's or host a mini competition with the rest for new homebrew apps

Unlike others here, I really like the idea behind the logo. The way the 'H' forms a DS is very clever, but I'd personally remove the 'THEmes' bit on the left side of the graphic.
