It's easier to use a previous gen console (Xbox in particular) as modchips are readily available and most emulators have been ported to those anyhow. But... I s'pose this could make way for something more interesting.

cube action replays aren't neccessarily eay or cheap to come by either...
by the time you've got the gecko, and the AR....
you will have gotten a few games from the virtual console.
also, does this method support n64 emu? if so, how well does it run?
also, keep in mind that while you're using this method, you'll be using gamecube mode on your wii... so no wiimote, or classic controller action

Personally since your gonna use paypal either way i'd go with the $15 dollar solution like I did. You'lll have to register and account to be able to send him a p.m. to get the info though. But it's free

Or, if you're not afraid of soldering irons (and you shouldn't, they are hot, but they don't bite), have a spare GC Memorycard and SD Slot lying around, you can build this adapter yourself easily:

i have a dumb question.

does this work for gamecube roms as well?
can i download an .iso rom and burn it with alcohol on a DVD and itl'l play on my wii?

if so, i think its worth doing since i sold my old gamecube with all my games.

Anyone considering doing this be warned - if you have a European/Aussie wii, AR will more than likely NOT work (freeloader also).

It seems Nintendo wised up for the PAL territories.
