I was referring to your statement about real time saves, not AKAIO in general. I accept that AKAIO has been delivered to the AK team and is now in corporate limbo, waiting for someone to care about releaseing it. I don't doubt that it will happen soon, as the Acekard 2 is in dire need of some good news right now with all of the recent hardware problems.

Real time saves are not a working feature until they are a working feature. I'm not betting on that happening any time soon, though I would be quite happy about it if they were added to the loader.

There hasn't been any news from Korea yet

so you'll just have to wait until it gets sorted out. At the moment I'm sort of bored working on the akmenu so I'm doing some of my other projects.

I don't blame you, Normmatt. But I hope you'll get back into it once Korea releases it and you get feedback from users telling you how great it is and begging you to continue developing it!

Did you ever get the slow motion working for the AK2?

By the way, someone in another thread had a good idea for a future feature: a .ini option that will disable changing any of the settings. It would only allow you to launch games/homebrew (essentially it would disable the start menu and associated buttons) unless you change the setting in the .ini back. I've seen several people asking about this option for smaller children who play the NDS but keep accidentally changing the settings. It might also be useful to have another feature that disables folder navigation (i.e. shows all the .nds files on the cart in a single list) to create the simplest menu possible for smaller kids.

wow is it a little upsetting that we've created it just fine as of my last files sent to Norm... and nada.

Maybe you could 'relesae' a beta tester af AKAIO....

...you guys rock like Dokken (in the 80's).

before setting out on AK2 territory it was relayed to me extensively the measures taken by the AK team to prevent piracy of the cart in China and Korea. Leaking anything would definitely be counter-productive. Trust me, I'd love to... but there are powers above my American and Norm's Ozzie (kiwi?) ass here.

It's a damn shame, cuz AIO is AKBSS on an AK2... which is definitely what the goal was for me upon receiving an AK2 (and I owe many hours to Norm, he's the asskicker on this project!)

It's a damn shame what's working fine for us is "broken" to them.. and we haven't heard dick all about it for some time.

It's not vaporware! I swear!

They certainly don't seem to get it. Enthusiasm for the AK2 is going down the toilet thanks to two bad batches in a row and an apparent lack of respect for the people working to make the cart better.

Some good news, the korean team finally got back to me telling me they hadn't had time to look at the source so they told me to remove korean support all together and release it. So hopefully within a day or so when i've got the code compiling again with the latest devkitarm me and Smiths will do a release.

I love it.. no time to look at it.
Norm... take great mirth in removing the korean support. I know i would at this point. Cross it out with a "//remove Korean support -- bliss" in the source just for fun

At the moment its based on 4.07a14 but i'd like to use a16 which the acekard team said they'd send soon. The first release probably won't have slow motion as I'm not really in the mood to fix the problems with it. It will be in a future revision though.

Just as long as we get a release soon

You can add in all the extra features later

(There would be nothing to update if it was perfect!)
