I then put the official AK firmware on the card and download play worked... i have settings turned to download play on as default and everything... tried it in multiple ds's and nothing

i just got off memorial day weekend using download play between two ak 2.1s with no problems. not a single issue, no bugs, nothing. there is no major bug in akaio, what you have is a problem on your end. this could be the rom your trying to use, the msd cards, the patch system, the loaders, the aks themselves. it is not a problem with akaio.

Could anyone confirm which DLDI patching I should use? Since the official one is only for AK+ and on the wiki you mention the DLDI patching is still causing problems. Should I patch it with the AK+?

I'm using Acekard 2i HW:44 on my DS Lite.

Thanks.

AK+ is the original Acekard flashcart before AKRPG or AK2 so that ofcourse aint gonna work. AKAIO Auto DLDI patches.

So I don't have to patch anything if I want to run homebrew? Just have to put the homebrew on the card and run it?

So what does it mean to use the DLDI found in the official firmware, like noted on the wiki?

* I am having issues with NDS homebrew freezing, what is wrong?
The AKAIO 1.4.1 Proper DLDI file may cause issues for some users. Until the DLDI can be fixed use the version found in the official firmware.

I used to use G6 for my flash card, and they only had 1 type of DLDI patching. So I'm kinda confused with Acekard right now.

Thx.

It means if for some reason your homebrew doesnt work with the semi broken public akaio ak2 dldi then just replace it with the dldi found in the official firmware (copy it from __ak2 to __aio and rename if necessary) and your problems should be gone.

Hihi, Normmatt as he is!

Is ti possible to hack this firmware so that it runs on m3/r4 cause since i already got a m3 i don't wan't to go out and buy acekard when i already got a flash cart.

No, go buy a new flashcart and stop asking dumb questions.

But ofc it could technically be done but it would be too much of a hassle to bother.

Ow, you meant the one from the folders of ak2... And here I am searching the dldi on chishm and acekard website.

Thanks a bunch Norm.
