Hacking AK 2i for DS Lite?

I have DS Lite system. Is there any reason why I should get AK 2i and not the regular AK2?

Or in other words, is AK 2i better in any way, other than DSi support?

Even if he doesn't upgrade, it works exactly like Acekard 2/2.1. There's no point to buy Acekard 2/2.1 today, imo (unless acekard 2i is out of stock

and on deal extreme its only 1$ more then ak2.1 which is a steal for dsi support 1 dollar extra id but 5 for all my friends at such a good price
