Hi
A few months back I bought an Acekard 2i preflashed from ShopTemp. When it arived, many of the applications and games on there did not work, and some other homebrew that I have since put on has also failed. Usually the applications in question turn both screens black, or show an error message about the system fonts.

All NDS ROMs that I have used work flawlessly, without any lag or errors. I have made a list of all homebrew on the card and any issues. Some of the applications I have not tested fully due to issues with wifi, so those are put as working if they boot without any problems. After making this list i have realised how much usless crap i have on it that I have only used once or twice, so I might just format the SD card and start again anyway
Not working:
DSLibris – Displays “fatal : font not found (2) .” even though there are fonts in the proper folders
DSOrganise – Touch controls do not work
DSDiag – Freezes after each test and has to be restarted
DSReader – Both screens turn white
DSMe Beta 1 – Both screens turn black, after a few seconds the bottom screen turns blue with a lighter blue strip along the top
qDSed – Both screens turn white, then bottom screen displays “could not render system fonts”
Mini vMac – Fails to initialize system
Bunjalloo – Font config failed
DSLinux – Both screens turn white
DSTwitter - Cant read config file
DSWeather – Both screens turn black ant the light starts blinking
FB4NDS – Can’t find keyboards file
New Zelda – Both screens turn black
Doom – Works until I chose a .WAD file, then both screens turn black
Blimp – Top screen turns black, bottom screen turns white
Breakout – Both screens turn black
Puzzle Maniac – Gets stuck on 10%
The 15th Floor – Both screens turn black
VGHero – Both screens turn black

Working (to the best of my knowledge):
DSLamp
Morning timer, but only through Moonshell
Walkie-talkie
Ands-PDF, extremely slow, and most PDFs are too big to be rendered properly

If you're using a DSi the touch screen (and maybe more?) doesn't work in some homebrew that was compiled before DSi was added to the devkit, like DS Organize (also, use the 3.1129 build not 3.2).
A solution I've seen floating around is to disable WiFi in the DSi menu, I don't have a DSi so I can't test.

Also, what is "New Zelda"?

Thanks for the fast reply ill try that. I dont really know what new zelda is anymore, but i think it was a port of zelda to the ds as a .NDS file.
EDIT: turning off wifi does work with the touch screen problem.
