Hacking Acekard 2i cheats for dragon quest v

Hiya, I have an acekard 2i with Akaio 1.8.6a and have just got dragon quest v but when i select cheats before playing it says no cheats in database when there are supposed to be anyone have any ideas how 2 get them to work. I no i shouldnt use cheats but have found it 2 hard. Thanks

works fine here with us-version (trimmed)

get the latest usrcheat.dat from cheats.gbatemp.net and copy it onto your microsd in the cheats folder

Yeah tried all that and still wont work they work fine on the new dragon quest realms of revelation so dont understand

1). Make sure you're using an updated Cheat Database: http://cheats.gbatemp.net/
2). Make sure you're using the right file (usrcheat.dat) and it's in the right place (X:\__aio\cheats\)
3). Make sure your game is 'clean' and not a bad dump and doesn't have a 'cracktro'

managed to sort it now thanks downloaded a different rom
