A vita xlinkai tutorial

Allows PS Vita to connect to ad-hoc games through internet. What do I need?
-Internet connection

-PC with Win7 or Win10 (Win10 has less supported capabilities at the moment,
plugin is WIP, here is a list of unsupported games https://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39665)

-Supported Wi-Fi USB Adapter (list here https://www.teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/PSP_WiFi_Adapters - beware although your adapter might not be in the list, it can still support Xlink, it needs Xlink PSP Mode to be able to work)

How do I set it up? 1. Install needed drivers for your adapter and check if you see it in connection bar in Windows. Allow any firewall exceptions.

2. Make an account here https://www.teamxlink.co.uk/ and download the client. If the npcap installed, skip step three. Allow any firewall exceptions.

3. If npcap did not install, get it here https://nmap.org/download.html.

4. Restart your PC.

5. Open Device Manager on your PC
- Choose USB Adapter - Right click Properties - Advanced - Set PSP Xlink Mode to Enabled and click OK.

6. Start Xlink Client and login. Allow any firewall exceptions.

7. Go to configuration and in Connection choose your adapter.

8. OPTIONAL - if you use Win10 get adhoctousb here - https://github.com/plus11/adhoctousb-guide (some steps are different in case of adhoctousb)

(yes this works with the vita)

in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
