I thought you should check out the game we made during a school project here in Sweden. The game was made during 9 weeks so I think we made it pretty good actually. Well check for yourselves: Flipside

Looks very nice.
I dunno if its my crappy video card or the game (mostly like the vid card)
I just get white and grey blocks. I think because my gfx card is horrible.

Grabbed it but it seems my drivers (latest NVIDIA non 8xxx series) are out of date, will mess with some stuff and see what I can pull off.

Thanks for posting this. I love when school projects are released to the public...

Games like Tetris, Counter-Strike, and Portal were school projects. That's all I can think of right now.

Are you planning to keep it as an online game, or are you going to try and go further with it???

Thanks for the feedback dudes. You should pick the direct3d9-option when the OGRE-thingie pops up at the start.

The game is kind of heavy and the time for optimizition was little. But it worked fine in school

You can turn off the shadows but the jumps will be a little harder to make then.

We have some loose plans on porting in to the xbox live arcade (XNA), but we'll see after the semester what the rest of the group say.


Edit: It should be direct3d9 not opengl, sorry
