what are you using to block them? My router doesn't block any of the switch adresses so I'm forced to use fiddler. If your not use fiddler I would recommend you give it a try.
Using fiddler my dude. I haven't tried my router but honestly after all the trouble I have had with my router & at&t I don't even want to touch it.
im using fiddler and all its blocking is http://dauth-lp1.ndas.srv.nintendo.net:443 because it shows the red symbol
This is the exact same issue I am having in fiddler as well, it only blocks dauth and none of the other stuff.
Also another thing is using the DNS: 205.166.76.187 should block out updates but you can't use online services directly on Nintendo Switch.

Maybe there is a way to do it who knows :/.

make sure you remove the slash at the end.

so it should be http://sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net:443 and not http://sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net:443/ also make sure you are using the command
*drop and you press save. don't forget to save it.

The old thread made back in march is out of date. If your on 3.0.0 block these addresses (eshop access won't work, until someone figures out a bypass)
here is the complete list of must blocks
ones known previously:
http://sun.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net:443
http://beach.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net:443
and ones that I found (that you must block to stop update nag! as of august):
http://dauth-lp1.ndas.srv.nintendo.net:443
http://atumn.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net:443
http://aqua.hac.lp1.d4c.nintendo.net:443
you must block all five as of august in order to stop switch nag.

out of date list (but contains stuff not mentioned!)

Eshop problem:so as far as I looked into it (not super deep) it appears dauth is responsible for allowing people into eshop.... but there is a catch. as that also make the system nag for a update.... So this means that somebody has to figure out a tool to force the response to duath to be different or valid. aqua is also the same... As far as I know. Which I'm not the smartest guy on the planet so I could be partially wrong. However I can confirm that all five must be blocked.
Barnacles.. Update, followed the instructions closer and i'm now getting this instead.

OKAY. When i probed the switch wifi traffic it reaches out for "http://bugyo.hac.lp1.eshop.nintendo.net:443" And now gives me a "Unable to display page" message instead..
Edit: probably just useless to block this as it looks like it's the main probe for the eshop.

I have a frontier router, It's not possible to block specific things on it. I've googled it. I've tried many things, it's just not allowed to do so. Is there another method to prevent the annoying system update nag that's on breath of the wild without spending any money? (Which I cannot do.) I've already accidentally updated to 3.0.1 because of this, hopefully I can avoid whatever new update there is. The DNS I've been using has stopped working.
