Being on 5.1.1 I stripped the menu.json. from all but the 5.1.1 stuff.so I go directly to that page.

You can also use the directlink

for navigating direct to 5.5.1 or

/index540-551.html##551-php
for the 5.5.1 php stuff

so you dont need to edit the menu.json

Im using a Android Tv Box (Jbonest M8S) + KWS here to host 2.0 files, Im getting a 100% success rate selecting 5.5.1/Loadiine from the .MP4 section which has never happened before... HBL has always worked well, But could not launch the 5.5.1/.MP4/Loadiine directly from the host because it would hang & freeze.

direct link to hbl : works 0/3 (freeze 3/3)
hbl from menu : works 3/3

loadiine launched from HBL exits to HBL when pressing home.

loadiine GX2 from menu : works 1/1

I don't know why it freeze, maybe some cache issue as it's the default URL loaded at browser launch if my server is enabled.

What region is your 5.3.2? I'm on a phone and can't see where you're from

The big difference between both methods result in where the host is located compared to your Wii U. In local hosting, PHP&MP4 are doing a very slight difference barely noticable due to the proximity of your web host, when putting the AIO on a remote host may need PHP to ensure data retrieving integrity.

Ok so after updating to 5.5.1 it works alot better i have only had it to lock up once. Hosting from android server on a tablet.

I'd you were using 2.1 you shouldn't have had it lock up at all on 5.3.2.

Can you go into more detail?

Direct linking to HBL freezes? while menu works? This shouldnt be the case.. it used to work with direct linking and not through menu with the same payload.

I did only one try.

I think it's a cache issue so don't worry.
I'll set another default page in the browser and it should fix it. But even if there's an issue with direct url, users will not type the URL manually and will use the menu so it's fine.

Dont know kws but point it to the root folder where you host your files. There is an index.html, loading automatically. You can put the files and folders from the www folder whereever you want, you dont need the www folder itself.

How you get the Browser to opening a specific website on the startup you know, i think. If not you will find this information on the first page.
