great job! but one question:do the videos have to be split into 10 minute parts or will say, a full movie play as one video?

In 0.23 I try to convert a 24 min video .mp4 and .mkv (200 MB) and no finish... wait and wait... the temp.avi is over 800 MB now... is normal?
what do you mean at the start of the video list? i go into the camera and click on view photos/videos, is this the right way to do it?, also the videos are in the DCIM folder but there is another folder inside the DCIM folder where all my photos are, are the videos in the right place? thanks.ninjaapple: As mentioned dozens of times now, they have to be split into ten minute parts.
snook: did you check at the start of the video list on the 3DS? Also apparently it can take the 3DS a while to refresh it's library, give it some time and see if they show up.
morphius: I don't know. The whole idea is just a theory at the moment, until it gets tested properly. It may not actually have to do with having a blank first frame at all.
Everyone: v0.30 has dropped. Find it in the first post.
Changes:Needs testing, I'm not sure if the new options work correctly or not. Please try any and all combinations possible
- Added mirrored input option
- Added option for 480x240 resolution (default is still 400x240)
Code:ffmpeg -i VID_0001.AVI -sameq vid.mpg ffmpeg -f image2 -i splash.jpg splash.mpg copy/b splash.mpg+vid.mpg temp.mpg ffmpeg -i temp.mpg -sameq FIX_0001.AVI
for the idea of an extra frame: it might be best to let the user choose the image.
or(if possible) generate an image with user-chosen text on it.
most likely the 1st frame is taken as thumbnail, so when using an image with box-art or the title of the movie it's much easier to figure out what movie you're selecting.

Can you make it work on 64-Bit systems too?
Mine doesn't work..

A progress bar would be nice. And also if it could utilize full Cpu speeds about 80% so the convert rate would be fast. ~Just a thought~
By the way, how do i request this topic to be stickied?
Anyone could confirm me if Mac OS X and Windows support files starting with numbers? I'll use a script named 3dsencode, just want to make sure it will work. If it won't, I'll call it encode3ds.
I have the same problem. The left and right pictures are flipped. How can I prevent this. Can someone help me?Yeah, it cut out some picture...
and flipped left and right so I now get that weird "inverted 3D" effect where the background pops out as the foreground, and vice versa.
I was using a side-by-side video.
This can be remidied by holding the 3DS at a 15 degree angle, but it's not the most comfortable of viewing positions.
Any ideas?
Hmm, yeah now that I think about it, it makes sense it would go to one stream. Darn.
Although the "frame 1 is not a valid keyframe" sounds bad too. I'll play with it some more and see if I can come up with anything...
Even cooler. But now it's Saturday Night Fever. Later guys!Think I've figured out a way to make it work, it's a little laborious, I'll post it later.
