Really? I like the blue model far more than the black model.c_house said:Man, the blue model is so fugly! Can't wait to snatch up a black one here in the USA, still a month to go though...
Not on the NA version.mercluke said:ShadowFyre said:Dunno if this was mentioned before, I can't be bothered to look back 9 pages, but is there a wifi symbol on any of the game boxes?
the icon in the bottom right of these game covers is the age rating but the soccer game has an icon in the top right that may be a "wifi-enabled" icon

3DS JP version unbox & street fighter
I think it might be some sort of protector, like one of those PSP analog nub protectors.mercluke said:nice to see that the icon in the menu is different for 3ds games being inserted and ds/i games being inserted (white icon for 3ds games and i'd assume the regular grey/black one that the dsi menu uses for ds/i games inserted)
edit: the nub looks kind of wierd, maybe it's just the photo but it looks like a creamy sort of color which wouldn't really go with blue very well (but then again, i should probably wait to have one in my hands before i judge it)
No. you can choose.stab244 said:Huh according to the 3rd video we can't just plug the charger into the 3DS. We have to use the charging cradle. That's just great since I have like no place to put the cradle. Junk everywhere. Guess it's time to clean my stuff up.
And jesus christ. They said its about 3000 HKD right now Hong Kong. That is roughly $500 USD (actually a lot less than that but I'm too lazy to try to divide 3000 by 6.75 or whatever the rate is).
ChrisRX said:You shouldn't go presuming things either. It's highly unlikely but it's not a completely impossibility. In the same way you can say of course my house won't fill with jelly, it's very unlikely but it may still happen.croagunk.master said:Did Nintendo tell you that? You know, you really shouldn't go presuming things. DS flashcarts didn't work with the DSi and loads of people tried running their old flashcarts on the DSi and none of them bricked. If the 3DS doesn't read the flashcarts, of course it won't brick it.
You're presuming just as much as he is and until someone tests it there may be a chance that there is software or hardware set to disable if a cart attempts to fake the security checks.

Agreed, and either way, i said i'd always buy black handhelds. Because i HATE seeing grime all over it
DeMoN said:Damn, I didn't realize that Nintendo might have put an bricking feature for anti-piracy. No wonder no one's trying out their flash carts, it would suck to be the first guy to lose a $300 console like that.
Didn't they do that for the Wii? Bricking region changed Korean Wiis with a 003 error when they were updated to 4.2/4.3?shakirmoledina said:i would seriously doubt tht nintendo does something like tht... maybe they can ban your ds from accessing nintendo wifi servers for online gaming... tht would be logical but this is kinda overboard (nintendo's not like tht at least i think so)

The Wii never bricked unless you fucked something up in the IOS's, with the exception of 1 serial range and even still, you had to edit the IOS's. I think with that serial range you could still hardmod it.DeMoN said:Damn, I didn't realize that Nintendo might have put an bricking feature for anti-piracy.
