json nailed it.
what the hell did that guy think they were in this business for? altruism?
People in the business of making moneyfrom piracyengage in ethically questionable business practices...and in other completely unsurprising news...
I wouldn't say imminent. They've been saying soon in the same way that Valve uses it for a while now. Thanks for sharing, it seems 2.0 is imminent.
Their 2.0b1 firmware and earlier is completely safe. Your call if you want to risk 2.0b2, although the only real benefit it provides is eShop use. With all the fuzz going around the bricking happening as of today "I think", is it safe to still get GW now or stay away from it for now. I finally got a 4.5 3DS so answers would be nice.

The gateway team teases us yet we see no release/date -_-
Now if only you had a source rather than pulling conjecture out of your ass.No release because one of the beta testers keeps bricking.
True enough. On the other hand, every single time they actually said "in the next few days" in emails, they did deliver in the next few days. Has anyone seen any hard statements like that yet about 2.0?I wouldn't say imminent. They've been saying soon in the same way that Valve uses it for a while now.

Someone has reported getting bricked using 2.01, but that could be completely unrelated and/or unfounded. Just as an FYI.Their 2.0b1 firmware and earlier is completely safe. Your call if you want to risk 2.0b2, although the only real benefit it provides is eShop use.
Or... maybe the silver one was just closer at hand? That is pure speculation.
But, I did notice in teh videos at gateway's website, in an older video they are using a blue 3DS XL, and the latest video shows a silver 3DS XL, wft happened to the blue XL, was it taken out of service?
There's literally only one thing that could possibly mean: you pay more attention to which 3DS they use for video demonstrations than they do.That is pure speculation.
