I'm jealous of those who can code a RAM dumper because if I could, I would create one that would dump the RAM in game to get the Mario Kart 7 soundtrack that for some reason seems impossible to dump.

Oh that's really nice, I'm guessing its the same model format assuming they went with the same type of model format. But that really great work. Hopefully we get some Zelda samples would love to get some of the OOT3d models out. Just makes me need to get my 3ds that can do the Ram dumping so I wouldn't have to rely on others to do that.

Since mainly ripping 3d models is the real thing I want to see happen in 3ds Scene. Since its interesting to see them up close and how they were modeled.

Smea pulled apart the pokemon ones (plus textures and animations, up to and including high level tool import/fiddling), it might like pokemon often is and subtly different to the mainline versions of the same formats but a lot of the work has already been done

The fine folks over at TCRF have started using this exploit to peek into some 3DS games, and there's some interesting stuff regarding Ocarina of Time 3DS still having early assets from the N64 development period, like references to the Wind Medallion. Can't wait until more stuff can be more easily looked at--it'd be interesting to see if these are just what's also in the N64 stuff, or if the 3DS remake had some internal resources given to them by Nintendo that happened to also get left in.

Every generation has had their sprites and assets extracted by fans for download. Imagine if you could download those 3d animated assets, ready for insertion and rendering.

I'm actually hoping that smealum does release an updated script so I can look at models from 3D Land and OoT 3D, myself. I'd have hours upon hours of entertainment.

I am currently implementing bcmdl (cgfx) in mkds course modifier, so I can already view those models, but I need more models for testing and I need to reverse the shaders used.

Yes, like that.
Start a race in mk7. You don't need to drive, just make sure you're in-race.
Press home.
Dump ram.

Sorry, i dont hace mk7 ,can i use gateway?

Only legit games i have kid icarus and rayman3d. I will try, but i cant open files with winamp.

It doesn't work at the same time as gateway is running (it uses another loader). Could you try rayman 3d?

At last I got the dumper to work after playing Mario Kart, let's see if the dump is successfully created.

I got Yoshi's voice sample and some other sounds related to the track I played but still no background music. Could this be related to the RAM or the CWAV dumper?

I can dump MK7. So I have to run the game, start a race, press home (exit?) dump the ram. What will I get? A file on my SD card? What can I do with it. I'm interested in the 3d images.

Another question: Could it be possible that the music of the game is stored in the multiple CSAR files I'm getting?

The music may not be stored in any CSAR files. It's probably all stored externally. Check the CSARs to see if there's any .bcstm references. Should be stream/(somenamehere).bcstm.

Also check your dump for any 43 53 54 4D FF FE headers. That could end up being a full music file.
