Hacking 3.4 Banner Brick Help please

Hi!

Anybody know if there is any way i can fix a 3.4 Banner Brick? i have purchased a wasabi dx mod chip in order that i could boot one of the autoboot discs to remove the dodgy WAd which caused the banner brick but it still doesnt seem to boot them with the mod chip in. Ive have done a bit more reading and it seems like i can only do this with 3.2 or earlier :-( am i completely screwed?
