Hacking 2GB MicroSD stopped working in my R4 but still reads on PC - Any sugge

So for no apparent reason my R4 can no longer read this fairly new 2GB PQI MicroSD card I have. The R4 boots up fine, but when I try to load ROMs it fades away like it's going to bring up my ROM list and simply doesn't "unfade". I tried my old 1GB card in it and that works fine, and like I said in the title the 2GB can still be read through a card reader on my PC (although there was some noticeable read-speed delay) and the data seems intact. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Copy all your files to your pc and format the card and copy the contents back......
