Homebrew $20s to the man who will fix beup!

Bumping because I need beta testers. I might have fixed it but I'm not familiar with Beup, I need people who are. Hit me up on MSN or aim, details on GBAtemp contact card.

If I've fixed it already I might pick up the torch and work on other parts of Beup.

not exactly sure what the big deal here is though, 3rd party clients like pidgin seem to work just fine with msn.

Ok, so at the moment you need to change the following line:

#define Dispatch_IP IP(65, 54, 239, 20)

But how did you actually ge the MSN ip address? Assuming it changes again before beup has DNS, how do we find the new MSN ip address?

Pidgin has DNS, which allows it to automatically find the msn dispatch servers new ip address as soon as it changes, meaning it should never have a problem.

On the other hand, beup does not have DNS, it only has a fixed ip address.

Why bother waiting I just use OPERA DS and e.buddy mobile website and connect to MSN,AOL,YAHOO,AIM,AOL,MY SPACE,G-TALK and EBUDDY messengers

BTW can you have more than 1 tap open in opera ds?

You can use something like IRCDS and the bitlbee service in the meantime. It works pretty well.
