  • Decided to give my Blog page the same face lift as my main website. They're nearly identical! Seeing this really puts a smile on my face...

3DS compat is a bit pointless given that many sites can't load due to old certs, but I tested on n3DS and a Vita too.

And yeah, my home page needs A LOT of work, that's for another decade :glare:

It is a bit pointless, but I think it's still kind of awesome to see that my site can be ran on not only my modern devices but also that little old system, too. My original review site Backloggd also does, but it takes a bit more to load than my site.

Didn't know that you have a website. And you even have a website button. Too! I think I'm gonna add this to my small collection on my main.
There needs to be another brand that isn't HP that I can get hardware without it randomly failing on me. this new situation with the family desktop is wild; the display randomly fucked itself up and I didnt even do anything about it

    oh!

I'll still look into those regardless.

I have a T14 Gen 1 AMD one. It's great, maybe nearly as repairable as the older ones, but it is still serviceable with 2 M.2 slots and upgrade-able ram. I believe the older ones can have their entire keyboard replaced. Just wanted something modern that didnt try to look like a MacBook on the outside.

The charger that came with my laptop is just normal USB-C so if the charger somehow doesnt work or gets ruined it can be easily replaced. Compared that to my HP laptop prior where the charger was a barrel jack and poorly designed so that wrapping it up would eventually wear away at the same inside and leave it exposed.
does profile posts count for this too? I have access to it but im asking nonetheless

It’s just your message count, fairly sure EoF posts don’t contribute to it in general. If you want to check if profile posts do, take a note of your message count before and after posting?
i wish i joined sooner. i may or may not be able to get the 10 year achievement since it'll be 2032 when that happens. Can't imagine living into the future like this!

I can so relate to that, would've been so nice to see how the modding scene progresses (even with the 3DS).

I've been around 'temp since more or less the beginning times in one form or another, when temp really was temporary
@x65943 There are days when I can't imagine living another 5 minutes, let alone 7 years XD

Windows do not have fastfetch you need to install it as a external module with one of the commands:

    choco install fastfetch

    scoop install fastfetch

    Fastfetch original Repo

I installed this fastfetch through christools. Idk if this uses the same repo as that one LOL

I don't use Titus' utilities (nor do I use Windows), but I would imagine installing packages like that is carried out much like a graphical frontend for a package manager, so probably based on a more established repo like Chocolatey

Could be a job for a web scraper / crawler. I once made a PHP script that pulled data from the Wii shop (spoofing itself as the Wii browser) and generated an RSS feed for updates. Ooh NekoWeb has a nice ringn to it.

i took what diggeloid said and just started working on putting my reviews inside of my site by itself. Makes the job way easier.
I hate it when it gets stuck here.

XFoxPrower Interesting... Someday, I'll get a PSVita.. It has a port of The Legend of Dark Witch on there.

PSTV's an option too. There's pros & cons to the 3+ models of Vita too. I can help with that. I don't think I'll get the trophy for beating Dark Witch without getting hit 3 times or so.

The First two games were great until the developer started to take the series in the wrong direction.

It's 2025. Is there a PSX1/2 Emulator for the Wii

Pretty much it is. They share the same PowerPC architecture and the Wii is fully backwards with GC games and homebrew.

Even tho the comment is years old, it gets the same response... though that's reasonable. same thing wih putting DS games onto the Wii and whatnot.

I foresee a day when decomps will be a semi-automated process, taking all the intricacies of the emulated hardware and optimizing it for the target, handling all the pre-chewing up front. But while that would require crazy levels of accuracte instruction processing and context (as emulators should strive for), that would no longer be emulation.

Some piece of garbage ASUS ROG from 2016 lol

I posted a photo of the laptop on my profile page a little while ago.
There may not be a way for Parsec to natively host on Linux, but is there a way for Parsec to host if you use Wine? I highly doubt it, but I think that this should be possible..... Somehow.

also i was wondering why i was getting so many of these, but i eventually figured out how to turn them off. I think I turned them on momentarily since at first I didn't expect for me to have Active DMs with people, but hey.

In "Preferences" and under 'Content Options', uncheck the box that says 'and receive email notifications' from each option that has it. And also turn off the email notifs for news and activity summaries.

Uh oh what does this mean

Very much simplified the 32/64 bit difference is on how much the system can have installed and adddressable memory without resorting to interesting trickery. 32-bit, 4Gb max, 64-bit (theoretically) 18.4 million Tb.

If on 32-bit system still for some reason, Steam will stop working.
    lwiz

You can check your Windows edition whether 32/64-bit from Settings->System->About and scroll down until you see System Type. 32-bit computers tend however be on the older side, 10+ years of age at least.

Okay so none of my PCs are 32Bit lol. All of the ones in my house have got tonbe 64 bit. Maybe not my Toshiba Sattelite and MAYYYBE not my family desktop, but theyre from around the 2010s.

We have reached a peak in graphics to a point where we now need pointless ai enhancements to make the game "better" when games like Kamiko and Undertale don't need them. What does the AI even do to yhe drawing specifically? Makes it worse? Or better?
