I swear nothing at all ever wanted to work except for Windows 10 and Solus, lol

Some piece of garbage ASUS ROG from 2016 lol

I posted a photo of the laptop on my profile page a little while ago.
There may not be a way for Parsec to natively host on Linux, but is there a way for Parsec to host if you use Wine? I highly doubt it, but I think that this should be possible..... Somehow.

also i was wondering why i was getting so many of these, but i eventually figured out how to turn them off. I think I turned them on momentarily since at first I didn't expect for me to have Active DMs with people, but hey.

In "Preferences" and under 'Content Options', uncheck the box that says 'and receive email notifications' from each option that has it. And also turn off the email notifs for news and activity summaries.

Uh oh what does this mean

Very much simplified the 32/64 bit difference is on how much the system can have installed and adddressable memory without resorting to interesting trickery. 32-bit, 4Gb max, 64-bit (theoretically) 18.4 million Tb.

If on 32-bit system still for some reason, Steam will stop working.

You can check your Windows edition whether 32/64-bit from Settings->System->About and scroll down until you see System Type. 32-bit computers tend however be on the older side, 10+ years of age at least.

Okay so none of my PCs are 32Bit lol. All of the ones in my house have got tonbe 64 bit. Maybe not my Toshiba Sattelite and MAYYYBE not my family desktop, but theyre from around the 2010s.

We have reached a peak in graphics to a point where we now need pointless ai enhancements to make the game "better" when games like Kamiko and Undertale don't need them. What does the AI even do to yhe drawing specifically? Makes it worse? Or better?

The developers are always looking behind the scenes... I'm targeting to universally see these notifications on the devices that don't have notifs enabled for this site. something I wished to be fixed!

Something that I appreciate more is when more important things about the site get changed.
    Thread 'DS Programming for Newbies!'

Arcticles like this are the perfect reason this site shouldn't be discontinued. The ad system rework made it seem that GBATemp was on the verge of being discontinued, ngl.
this place needs to have a dedicated Nintendo Direct Thread... oh wait, the editorial team provides live coverages of each nintendo direct that could be looked back upon

So this really only shows up on Windows and Debian-based distros, huh. I just noticed that when I use my laptop, I don't see this (runs Fedora Workstation), but on our desktop (runs Linux Mint Debian EditioN), it does.

Why does it not show up regardless of the distro? Idk, but other Xenforo sites like the Terraria Community Fourms works properly.
I think I talked about this before, but I want to bring it up again: I wished I didn't have to see the political side of the fourm.

starting to finally get to see how it's like to mess with disk management on Linux. At flrst, it seemed to be confusing shit (especially on Cinnamon/KDE Plasma), but with GNOME, it seems to be a bit easier for me to understand what the heck I am doing to my flash drives and such.

I'm completely wiping (turning all data into zero) the flash drive I put all of my Linux stuff on and turning it back into a normal flash drive reserved for my review space. 32GB might seem overkill, but I want for this to be the space where I finally git gud and lock in when doing my reviews. No more puny 8GB Flash Drive for me to use.

What do you mean with why? Maybe Firefox adding yet another anti-feature? Well… about:config is your friend for Firefox settings (including telemetry and such)
    browser.ml.chat.enabledfalse
Thanks for the heads-up. I did not noticed this crap.
    🤧🤧🤧

the usb drive that contained my linux stuff has officially been destroyed. i am sticking to fedora workstation, and that's final. fedora cinnamon decides to not allow kde connect to work no matter my attempts at making it to work.

One can wonder what the best internet service provider is and how much data they can give you. We use Xfinity, but I don't remember if Comcast is actually good or not. I remember the horrors about them, but never really understood what they were.

Yeah in fact Optimum services some neighborhoods in my town, I think mine as well, I've gotten flyers from them. I'm "fortunate" to have Verizon here but everyone I hear that has Optimum service has service issues like I used to have on Comcast forever ago.

That's rather unfortunate... I hate having to hear these type of companies having bad service, especially since they have the resources (or more of) to make them the best of the best. If we have so much technology that can power ai, then some of the resources can be put towards other stuff that isnt powered by ai snf stuff.

I'm out of the loop as I have no ISP, but I've never had good experiences with Comcast. Days of outages, incompetent techs, and a 1 TB bnandwidth cap. But Mom was able to get so many coupons and rebates on buying our own modem that we actually made more than we paid. Now I hear Comcast forces you to use their equipment, which shares wifi with other subscribers whether you permit it or not. Seems like a bad idea.
Imagine.... all of this time of me using Linux for the best I can do, and my last resort is using my most favorite distro of them all... Linux Mint

Never had a single ounce of a problem using it, and its next to Fedora for being the best Distro ive pwrsonally used

Ubuntu is nice and all, but tbh I don't know i i really like snap packages and whatnot. Heard bad things about them

nevermind, stop thinking about changing back

I at least have lmde on the family desktop use that instead
I have so many profile pictures, I get a bit too insane to pick which one would be fitting for all of the sites im the most active in.
It has changed even more. I guess I just don't like KDE Plasma as much as I used to anymore. Cinamon beat it, but still GNOME is still the best
