Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Hello there!

I installed Luma last week and I've been plagued by error 004-5001. It prevents me from getting into Badge Arcade ("We seem to be having problems connecting to the server") and purchasing DLC or doing manual delivery checks in SwapDoodle.

I suspect there may be some mismatch in the time/date stored by the system. I recall being amused that it thought the year was 2032, realising that I'd gotten July and August mixed up somewhere along the way, and carefully manually setting the time in System Settings right down to the second.

However, when I make a new post in rverse/Miiverse it always says "16 hours ago", and when I take a screenshot with Rosalina the datestamp says it was taken tomorrow.

This is just my running theory. I don't believe I'm banned. I can still use the internet browser and eShop just fine. I've tried removing all traces of Badge Arcade including extra data, removing and re-adding the wifi connection - no luck.

I did encounter the bug "that only happens once" with the black screen and the blue LED, but that's fixed now.

Any ideas?

Have you tried resetting the time and date from system settings?

I have - no dice.

Update: Yet to check and see if the date/time quirks are fixed, but deleting all wifi connections and using my mobile hotspot finally made the error message go away!

Reset rtc in godmode.

So there was yet another 3ds system update, 11.16 I think it is... any confirmation on whether Luma can take the update fine? last tweet i saw about it did say that nfirm or whatever was updated and I recall that often soft-bricking CFW whenever it happened.

Luma works on the latest firmware.

for exploit i launch pokemon picross and give me hax this error can not find takeover object.
OTHER METHOD: if i use unsafe mode after luanch dsiware give me an error. i think i need updated universal otherapp to work
i think i need new other app for my old 3ds to work beacuse nintendo patch payload is it right? i need to wait?

could you explain this sentence more? I think it will solve my problem?
((Pichaxx should still work fine, just change the otherapp to *hax version (the cfg:s ones I made) and use slotTool.3dsx to install usm.))
i change old3ds_usa.bin to otherapp.bin from otherapps_with_CfgS folder(release 1.3)
