Hello, this is my first thread here. Recently I got a Japanese Wii U unit. I homebrewed it using Tiramisu.
Some games don't need anything to work, they just do. But there is 2 games that needs workarounds (for me)
Mario Kart 8 - Even with Spiik and modded game files, won't load the language files
Wii Party U - Won't launch without Spiik & while using Spiik, everything works except the Miis won't load, (there will be just one Mii, going around with the name "???????????????"), and the Mii faces won't render, both in the player models and the textures.
I think there is a workaround for MK8, I tried it and it won't work so I'll rely on playing the game in Japanese, but for Wii Party U, I find it weird that the game loads, but it just wont work correctly.
I tried decrpyt,ng the game files and working around with it, but I could only use Loadiine to play it (NUSPacker cant pack it correctly) and most of the textures (ex. bold text, titles and localized text (ex. the tiles in Highway Rollers dont show up)) won't work.
Has anyone fixed or done a fix for this? If so, I would appreciate it if you'd share it.
