So quick question regarding this tool, does this tool only allow you to restore vWii without a nand backup or does this also allow you to restore with a backup? I wanted to know if I should have vWii Nand restorer tool or if I can also use this with my backup?
I am having the same issue for some reason on my European Wii U. Not sure what the deal is.When I try to do an update I get "Your console is up to date". Do I do a force update?
I turned off autoboot into payloader and nothing happened
I solved my problem. You need to set the boot back to system menu instead of payloader then it will boot stock. It should update then. You can change it back via health and safety app to boot into the menu to set it back to boot Tiramisu. When I try to do an update I get "Your console is up to date". Do I do a force update?

I did the same thing you did.... Maybe we're missing something?I solved my problem. You need to set the boot back to system menu instead of payloader then it will boot stock. It should update then. Edit: seems it still won’t boot. I don’t understand what is going on. It doesn’t even try as it doesn’t do the disc drive initialization that it is supposed to do and is bricked still.
late reply here but I don't think the Wii U updates are downloading vWii files anymore. I may try to use the vWii dump off my NTSC-U Wii U on my PAL model and see where it goes as I only want 60hz output vWii on my European Wii U anyway.I did the same thing you did.... An update for me, for some reason everything just went back to normal? I am very confused. Homebrew opens just fine, disc's worm without an error popping up, digital games do too. I'm not sure about USB devices because I don't know where the one I use for my wii u is.late reply here but I don't think the Wii U updates are downloading vWii files anymore. follow this ==>Error #2: When I boot into Tiramisu it automatically goes to boot into the vWii. This is bad because I cannot access Tiramisu at all because of it. How could I fix this?
You have to do a Wii U system update to download the vWii system files deleted by decaffeinator.Error #1: I ran vWii Decaffeinator and now I am unable to boot into my vWii!
When I select to boot into the virtual Wii I am just taken back to the Wii U menu.
I tried. Nothing happened for no update was performed. You have to do a Wii U system update to download the vWii system files deleted by decaffeinator.
Make sure using UFDiine that the update folder exists. Then you'll need to try updating while not running in any custom firmware.I tried. Nothing happened for no update was performed.
PayloadLoader is installed on the console itself, I want to say updates still won't work -- the same way it didn't work when you weren't in Tiramisu. Just follow the steps in the link, and then it's easy enough to click the link on that page to re-enable autobooting it.I just booted the console without my SD card inserted. Is that okay?
Hi! When I go to d2x CIOS Installer I am greeted with “Select IOS to use during installation”. What do I do? I’ve never seen this on my vWii before. When I choose IOS 58 and others it doesn’t show d2x-v11-beta1-vWii. d2x just shows “PayloadLoader is installed on the console itself, I want to say updates still won't work -- the same way it didn't work when you weren't in Tiramisu. Just follow the steps in the link, and then it's easy enough to click the link on that page to re-enable autobooting it.
When I Try to update it just says "The console is already updated"vWii Decaffeinator

How does it work
This uses the fact that the Wii U will redownload many missing files when performing a System Update.
So this homebrew will remove files that can be redownloaded and forces a System Update.
This even works while being on the latest Firmware Version!
How to use
Choose an option from the menu and confirm with START.
After a mode has finished press any button to launch System Settings where you can perform an update.
The update folder will be recreated if you deleted it! Make sure to delete it again if you want to block updates
Light mode
This will redownload every essential System Title including all IOS
Aggressive Mode
This will remove EVERYTHING!
Save Data, Installed Channels, ...
Force Update
This will force an update which may redownload any missing files
Regenerate setting.txt
This will regenerate the setting.txt which is the only file that can't be recovered by any of the other modes.
The file will be regenerated from the consoles region and serial which can be read from the Wii U mode.
Advanced options
This lets you manually configure what should be redownloaded
