Wii Bricked, Gotta lie to the store abt modding it

It wouldint boot into the wii menu or priiloader it would just start on a black screen
honestly dont know how to get to that but I cant get into any UI or brick saver of any sort
But it didn't crash while using the CIOS installer.
I'm not sure but it looks like a hardware issue. If you had priiloader but now it doesn't work it's the only alternative.
I would not return it to the store like you intended to.

Really? We have had a few Wii lately hardware failing – could be the case here. Example
It is a bit like with brand new things: If you root/jailbreak → no warranty on the hardware (even if there is absolutely no causality between modded software and the failure). That topic has more than one side. Lying for "I screwed up and somebody else should take the damage" is 100% scummy.

@RuthyHans If you did the modding correctly you should have access to BootMii in boot2 (if possible on your device) and/or Priiloader. If the following conditions are true:
- Priiloader installed correctly (verified working before)
- No System Menu replaced (overwrites Priiloader)
- Console previously working (System Menu), no dangerous operation, started WiiFlow → Bang
- Priiloader not starting now
@RuthyHans You can't access Priiloader by holding reset on boot? And you didn't set up BootMii as boot2 when you modded it? If you did, make sure the sdcard is inserted.

i had priiloader installed and bootmii set as an ios, i don't know how to get to a recovery mode or boot mii as ios but priiloader didn't work
Again, holding reset when boot doesn't take you straight to Priiloader? If you can't access either then it's bricked.
it only said that it could install bootmii as ios and i could get into priiloader before and didn't mess with the menu at all besides the disc channel priiloader mod but that's all
