I've not used my ns-atmosphere for a while and I noticed that the case had opened.

So I pulled the case open further and when I removed the board, I noticed the battery is like a balloon.

Does anyone know whether it's possible to buy a compatible battery and where I would get it?

It seems to hold some charge, but I figure it's on it's last legs & don't want it to leak bad shit everywhere.

I'd also like to be able to close the case.

Mine has 402030 battery inside, you can get them from aliexpress or probably even source locally. Any 3.7 V battery that fits should do.

There are replacement batteries available on eBay and Amazon.

I'm not sure why you mentioned ns-atmosphere in the title. There's no evidence to suggest that Atmosphere does anything that would cause this.
I was wondering this same thing! This could've been caused by a multitude of things.
ns-atmosphere is a name of usb injector

Purchase a new battery, try to buy an official one as it's best to be safe than sorry.

Be sure to dispose of the old one considerately.

Good luck :)

The battery in the ns-atmosphere doesn't look that "official".

Yeah, mine has the same. 402030 3.7v 150mah battery

The cheapest I've found is https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003072257761.html

Looks like it could take a couple months to arrive though. I'm not sure how I feel about someone saying it's an "explosion proof design" either.

I could spend the extra money to get this one slightly quicker... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001041430369.html
Hopefully it's better quality than their trademark violating store would suggest..

3.7V Lithium Ion batteries are fairly common. You just need to find one that will fit in the case. Even the ones you mentioned will work (Not sure about fitting in the case) but there is always a risk with cheap Chinese batteries that they are not very good. But for the sake of just over £1, it's worth a shot.
