Mass Effect Legendary Edition remaster releases this May

If you’ve been wanting to replay the Mass Effect series, you won’t have to wait that much longer. EA has revealed that the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which remasters the first three games, is set for release this May. Available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, the game will also support current-gen systems through backwards compatibility, and will come with all of their respective DLCs, better graphics, and certain modernizations and balances. Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch on May 14.

I tried 1 and it bored me early on. I do really want to give this series a run though, given the hype.
The gameplay in 1 is really quite rough compared to the sequels IMO, I usually end up just cheating in a super gun and armor so I can rush the gameplay portions and focus more on the story bits instead

But 2 and 3 play really well, if you like TPS. The ending in 3 is obviously contested, but despite the dumb ending everything leading up to it is quite good so I'd definitely recommend a playthrough at least once.

Nitendo promise better third party support..... notice no mention of a seitch version, not even a port from the ps3/360 versions which nintendo are only just allowing its fans to play games from that generation, years later.

I am not sure if it's really Nintendo's fault that this doesn't come to Switch.

Sorry but it is, nintendo focus more on gimmicks than hardware, this is why you see nintendo years later getting ports of the titles it always misses out on.

If they had the hardware then youd get them.

Personally i think they do it on purpose so it refuces competition against their games, which even the switch is a wii u port whore.

Damn! No switch huh? As a person who haven't even played this hyped game back in the day, I'm sad. I was hoping I could play it on the Switch on the go.
Problem is, if it did come to the switch itd just be the ps3/360 versions maybe beefed up slightly, which i wouldnt pay again when i already own them all on 360, or could pick up for a few quid.

Well, then it's easy, don't buy a console that "focus more in gimmicks". Just buy a ps5 or Xbox one Series or better yet, a PC, and problem solved.

That would be one of the possibility unless they port it well, but it doesn't really matter to me since I haven't even played a single one of that franchise.

Problem not really solved as nintendo still lack the option to buy said current titles when its new.

And come their next console we will hear the same bs promise.
