What you're looking at is the effect of tolerance, more specifically a crystal that is a bit too far away from the 12 kHz you quote. 30 seconds in 24 hours represent an error of roughly 0.035%, which would mean that your crystal is actually oscillating at 11996 Hz.

In my case the clock is going forward in time. Would this mean my crystal is at 12004khz? Do you think replacing the crystal would help, or this is pretty much imposible to get it right? Thank you very much! Saludos!

It might be possible, but I doubt it would be easy.

It also skews pokemon gold, silver and crystal (stock). The timer loses 5 seconds every 24 hours. So after 12 days, the timer on pokemon gold/silver/crystal is behind by exactly 1 minute. Not huge, but kind of annoying if you're super anal about it like me haha
super WHAT ????????:rofl2:

happy new year folks!
Happy new year Williw, today there was a house 2 blocks from mine, and they were doing a "forbidden" party! My feet could not resist and wanted to dance so badly! (Not tonight but some other night I will just get there with a bottle of wine and then dance the hell out, and then get arrested, it will be worth it).

You know the feeling because we are soutamericans. My best regards!

I hope to get in the next EZ-Flash Jr update some new fature, like cheat-codes support!

ROM-editing codes would be possible. Game Genie codes are essentially this.
RAM-editing codes like your usual GameShark codes are essentially as hard as in a GameShark itself.

I've had zero problems using my Junior for SGB enhancements with that SGB specific firmware posted awhile back. No idea what you're waiting for. The lastest firmware doesnt seem to support SGB enhancements, 1.05e. I've tested it.
Which firmware was it that supports SGB enchantments then?

Can you link it or quote the post please?

EDIT: I've found it now, I may give it a go, the SGB is the device I primarily use the Junior on so those features are something I'd like to have, I haven't seen an update from @EZ-Flash2 as to whether the SGB enhancements will make it to the final 1.05e release or if there were any major problems caused by using it...

Thanks for confirming, that's a risk I'm fine with taking then :)

I can give you some feedback if you like too? I have a Japanese SGB2 and a PAL SGB using both on a Super NT.

If there's any specifics you want testing send me a PM and I'll try them out for you.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

Waiting for Anbernic's rg[whatever]SP price announcement, gimme.

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
