i red that you will get a blackscreen when the unit is patched. but is this blackscreen permanent aka brick?

ismyswitchpatched says its a possible patched unit.

No, it's not a problem at all. You can safely send it and test it.
There won't be any brick.

Nope just reset the console and it will return to normal
