its cheap for what it does and its one of the best in the market. mine cost me £40 than antoher £8 for a laptop power supply for itMight have to pick one of these up, been looking for a new one for soldering my keyboards. Worth the purchase you think?
I use my fingers nails. Less chance for damage.
Oh now they're kind of short. But when I changed my thermal paste... Jezz that thing was a nightmare. But I got it off eventuallyGoing to need a pic of your fingernails I do not believe I could catch that with my nails. I would recommend not touching that with your fingernails though, because I recommend not touching any of the PCB with your fingers. Its best to undo the latches with a foreign object, then lift the heat shield with a plastic spudgle.
As for risk of damage using needle, there shouldn't be any if the needle is fine enough, because it fits well into the clip's groove. I had zero issues with the needle coming out and poking the PCB.
To your defense though, I do not think many people are doing anything the correct way
Just got my lite back from @ModderFokker619 He did a great job! Looks totally untouched, works perfectly! he set up the emunand, installed some basic apps. He repacked it better then I sent and even gave the box the chip came in back lol
Thanks Modder!
Thank You, Enjoy!
