No problem there, this config file make the game 720p in docked, but without dynamic resolution, so you are likely to encounter frame drops if not overclocking. Check the first page of this topic you'll find what's the meaning of some lines in the .ini .

By the way did anyone tested 720p without dynamic resolution and overclock ? Can we maintain stable fps or like XC2 we cannot ?

Oc values for docked?

without dynamic resolution and overclock, u can't get 30 fps in handheld. even if you overclock its 15-20 fps in handheld. u need to put a charger to get 30 fps. the game looks amazing though..

Mine looks quite solid but I kept the DR on.
The image quality is far far more superior than default though, on handheld without charger..

Wow native 720p is possible then ?! :O
It's an improvement on XC2 then ! And people are saying the two games are the same visualy only because of the resolution...
on handheld? i think its only possible with charger. but i don't know its safe or not.

You can also note that, in handled mode, Screen Space Reflexion is forced off. Also Distant point lights and Shadows are greatly reduced as stated in Digital Foundry Test

Isn't there a way to adjust these values for docked? Handheld, with the set configurations some people have posted, actually make the game look better than docked. I believe there's too much lighting on the character models and some of the textures, giving it a worse visual feel.

the grass still looks really rough even with 720p handheld :(

EDIT:

You say the red_auto=on setting doesn't work, are you sure it's not just scene.conf's AutoReduction enabled="true" now?
