Do you if i could use those same settings with xenoblade 1 perhaps? or would that not work?
As I said in the original post it works for xeno 1, 2, 2 with torna and torna standalone. That's crazy

Just water when you look from upper place it flickering a little but nothing bad

I hadnt noticed any flickering.
It looks quite amazing tho and the OC i needed for X2 was very minimal so far.
Runs really well with those settings.

the settings file i added to the contents folder "0100FF500E34A000" seems to work fine in X2 handheld mode. Graphics look great, no blur etc.

But when i try to play X1 in handheld mode it looks terrible.
Do i need to do something else to get it working in X1?

EDIT: I think i borked something during my install of the mod... would you be so kind as to share your folders?
Im sorry.

Have you installed the original masagrator excef patch for xeno 1?
I just tweaked some settings to get this good results but all the work is from this guy.
Give me the title Id for xeno 1 and I'll send you an mp

Thank you so much for your help!
X1:0100FF500E34A000
X2:0100E95004038000

Could you share both by any chance? I would really appreciate it. I kinda just wanna delete my folders and start over fresh, if possible!

My Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Overhaul Graphics Mod is ready to download

This mod was created based on "lib_nx engine graphics settings": https://gbatemp.net/threads/xenoblade-definitive-edition-config-files.565917/ Thank you @masagrator and @Niko_of_Death. Thanks to you, modifying the graphics of Xenoblade games has never been easier.

I will share mod updates in the description under the video.

Mod features:
- Improved anti-aliasing
- Reduced sharpening
- Disabled resolution scaling
- 2.5 x SuperSampling
- Tweaked postprocessing effects
- Improved shadows and lighting

Mod is still "work in progress" and I don't know If I can fix all issues.
We still have:
- Terrible draw distance and pop-in
- Some ghosting is still here

Screenshot comparison:

Off: https://i.imgur.com/7U7IjPa.jpg

What's new?
- I had to disable the transparent effects enhancements because they caused graphical problems
- I added two performance presets: no supersampling and 2x version - I don't recommend them, because antialiasing in this game is one of the worst ever made and supersampling fixes it a lot.

This mod was optimized for 2x resolution scaling in emulator.
4x is very heavy and 3x is broken in Xenoblade Games

Beta 0.89:

[NOT RECOMMENDED]
These versions will be updated much less frequently. Sharpening was not optimized for them.
When the mod will be finished I will try to improve them. At the moment it's just a preset with lowered resolution and keeping other fixes from the mod.

Beta 0.89 - 2x SuperSampling version:

Beta 0.89 - without supersampling:

[STEAM DECK EDITION]

Not a huge fan of the difference in colors, break the artistic direction imho.

Also while it's a good idea to try to make night darker, it just doesn't work well imho, and it's just flat dark (like pure black everywhere) so you loose a lot of details.

Also I find that TMAA/AA just make the game really blurry, and the sharpness does help but make it "deep fried" and add fake details.
It helps againt aliasing and shimmering on real switch at 720p, but on an emu at 2x or more, it more counterproductive imho.

Besides that, why did you change the gpucount ? Does it do anything on emulators ?

Old post but i found this funny there is no difference in color the guy who made this video just reduced the ingame brightness there is a slider for it in the options.
The mod itself is pretty great while playing on emulators definitely recommended.
