Retroarch is giving me an error that starts with, "ISI: Bad execute of unmapped memory at 00000000."
Also, the last part of title redirection doesn't seems to work for me, might be because I'm using MochaCFW.
Yeah that's the problem
Since RetroArch needs the extra memory given by main titles, you won't be able to use it with anything else other than Atmosphere or a variant of it.
RA depends on that extra memory for many cores to run well, since many of those cores have dynarec and they depend on it for optimal performance (Like Mupen64 and melonDS)

Really? That's stupid. Why does the modding community really just want you to get Haxchi? I guess it makes sense, but there's people like me who can't really get it, and for something as popular as Retroarch, I'd really expect it to work with Mocha.

No wait, I got confused lol
Atmosphere is for Switch, not WiiU. XD
I thought we were talking about Switch, sorry.

It should work without issues, more so if you're using MochaCFW.
I know it runs fine for me, but I haven't updated to the latest nightly for WiiU yet.

The problem is the error I'm getting, it's not working. I don't know why and don't know how to fix it.
I also tried a 32gb SD Card that I have and it went back to the Homebrew Launcher everytime I tried to open Retroarch when I tried that.
So I don't know what to do.

Delete the whole /retroarch/ folder and anything related to RA inside /wiiu/apps/
Then, extract everything from the .7z you download from the link I posted, it might take a while, but it should work.

The error you get is right when you start up RetroArch?
Or when trying to open up Quake?

It's right when I start Retroarch.
I also tried out the rpx version and I was able to open Retroarch but when I opened the PAK0 file it crashed and had the "ISI" error.

Oh yeah, it's the RPX version you should be using at all times, I forgot to mention that.
So Retroarch now loads, did you select the "Load Core" option and selected "Tyrquake from the list?
Also, do you have the Quake files in the proper file/folder structure as the page mentions?

I did that, but I have the ID1 folder in some weird place, maybe if move it to the root it will fix it.
Also, is it case sensitive?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It launched but I got an error in the Quake console.
"Host_Error: Sv_PrintSoundNum: Unknown Protocol Version (-9)"

SoundNum sounds like the music is not in the proper format.
It should be inside a folder called /music/ and in .ogg

I would like an application that can change the region & language of the Wii U menu. i.e. NTSC-U & English to NTSC-J & Japanese language.

A patch to get rid of the stupid 300 game limit.
This is a must for me and my family. I have my gaming tastes, but wife does too, and both our kids have different gaming tastes. But i really still want to use the Wii U menu, because of how nice everything looks in folders. I don't know how hard it would be, but if someone could figure it out, that would be incredible :yayu:

I'd love it too, but it's not happening, people have been asking for the 300 title limit to be removed for years on this site, both for the Wii U and the 3DS.
