I figure this likely isn't possible, or if it is possible that we don't know enough about how files are hosted for this to be a viable option. But I was thinking about how the Wii U doesn't have a proper media player (at least from the HD Wii U side, sure we got WiiMC from the vWii side, but that is only good for SD video), and thought of a hypothetical idea of how to more easily create a video player for the system:

Maybe a game patch could be made for SDcafiine so that when you launch Netflix after SDcafiine, that the server the title points to could be redirected to your own computer and then maybe you could host whatever videos you want to watch on your Wii U through the Netflix interface on the Wii U. This seems feasible to me, but without knowing how the Netflix files are hosted, this likely isn't possible. Then again, I really don't know for sure, and I could be way wrong on the subject. We used to be able to use Plex on the internet browser on the Wii U to essentially do this very thing, but now Plex doesn't work on the system's browser (in fact most all videos that used to be loadable on the system like kimcartoon, no longer work either). So something like this would really be appreciated.

DevilutionX (Diablo open source) on either Wii or WiiU would be super.
There's a 3ds and switch port already

Howdy!

A way to have a Wii U Pro Controller recognised as the Gamepad (with remapping)

An update to Swap DRC that adds onto the Enhanced Controls for Splatoon: L would trigger Specials (currently clicking the right stick, which is god awful), D-Pad Up would also trigger Specials, and D-Pad Down would jump to Spawn Point.

I'd also like to try it with D-Pad Left being jump to teammate 1, and D-Pad Right being jump to teammate 3. Both without holding A. These two would be blind, and questionable, but I still want to try.

Advice wanted. Wisdom sought. Thanks much! Do let me know if there's a better place to post this.

as in Team Fortress 2?

you didn't dream big enough. you should have said Team Fortress 3, Portal 3 and Half Life 3.

Nah, they where dreaming too big, Orange Box alone would brick the console, Plus they didn't ask for Gary's Mod.

Could anyone take the Super Mario War Wii source: https://github.com/dborth/smw-wii and apply the patches to enable the game to be played on the Wii U with Wii U Pro controllers and the Gamepad? I don't really know my way around this stuff, i tried to implement Fix 94's libraries to enable this, but I think it was starting to go over my head, and I got lost along that process.

Screenshot Tool that works with ALL GAMES( or the whole system ) and has a way to upload them to the web and save to SD Card (imgur or something).. I'm willing to start the bid with 100 US Dollars.

indeed
i would also like a Super Mario War Wii WiiVC for WiiU,
it was a fun family game

You can already play Quake 1 and its missions ever since RetroArch was available for WiiU.
Simply download the latest build for WiiU and get the Tyrquake core, that's it.
I tried that, and I can't seem to get it working, might be because I use MochaCFW.
Here's the thing though, I want a real port of Quake, that doesn't use some Retroarch core.

Dunno what the problem is, I've been playing Quake just fine years now without a hitch.
It's as asy as simply boot up RA and select Quake from the game list, that's all.

I'm not sure if I'm installing it right then, I've tried Homebrew App Store, but it just doesn't want to download the files, and last time I tried from the Retroarch website, when I tried to run it, it said "not enough memory."

Don't get anything RA from the App Store.
Instead download it manually from here:
http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/nintendo/switch/libnx/

Scroll down and download the latest nightly from there, and unpack everything on your SD's root.
Then follow the instructions detailed here to get it to run:
https://docs.libretro.com/library/tyrquake/#loading-quake-and-expansion-paks

Once you're on RA, go to "Load Core", select Tyrquake, and then "Load content" and browse the files in your SD to search for the pak0/pak1.pak files for Quake or its missions. Remember to have the files with the structure detailed in the Tyrquake setup page.

One more thing...
NEVER run Homebrew from the Album app.
Always use title redirection to use anything RetroArch (and any other Homebrew app for that matter, except Edizon).
For using title redirection, simply try to boot any game you have on your system, but hold down the R button right as you select it. Hold R until you get into the Homebrew Launcher.

Then it should work just fine.

Retroarch is giving me an error that starts with, "ISI: Bad execute of unmapped memory at 00000000."
Also, the last part of title redirection doesn't seems to work for me, might be because I'm using MochaCFW.
