Crisis Core, Fate/Extra and even Persona 3 Portable run pretty badly for some reason, are there any recommended settings I should use? I tried to tweak around a bit but still not really much improvement, I haven't overclocked my Switch yet though and I'd rather avoid it; should I try setting up the RetroArch core instead?

No, try overclocking, that's recommended when something runs poorly and if you want to keep avoiding overclocking, then you might just give up on emulating systems past ps1/n64 (even there you have to oc for some titles). As for the RA core, it's almost on par with standalone, no need to set it up if you already have standalone ver. From my experience standalone performs just a tiny bit better.

Overclocking it or stick with PC/MAC to run them better. Nintendo Switch is not very powerful system.

Getting crashing on Crisis Core during long FMVs, like the Angeal, Genesis, Sephiroth fight. I am using the HD UI mod but not sure if that's related to the crashing or not. Playing in Handheld mode too.

I had the same issue. Went back to Retroarch and it hasn't cropped up yet.

BTW I didn't need overclock for Crisis Core, the only stutter I've ever seen there is maybe the movies.

Great job with this emu, 60 percent of my games run smoothly at x2 res which is good, any tips for ape escape on the loose? It crashes instantly

Really weird. The folder with my psp games just dissapears from the browser menu. LITERALLY every single other folder is available except the ONE folder with my games in. Just happened there now. Dunno how to fix it.

I've moved folder, renamed it etc it won't appear

Check the folder and the files permissions on a PC.

hm, strange, i updated standalone from the official site and now no spinning camera in medievil, but now camera looks a bit down so i can't see what's going on in the distance lol.. At least now it launches in the lates RA core.

edit: uhm, nevermind, somehow the camera bug returned, yeah.
