This has probably been asked to death already but I've been wondering for a while now, so the question: is there any way to have a console automatically connect to Wimmfi? I'm meaning where one doesn't have to open Wimmfi or use another Wimmfi launcher to use the servers.

If you use Wiiflow Lite, update it to the newest version, then just go into the game settings and set "private server" to "Wiimmfi", done. No other patch, no DNS needed.
If you have "normal" WiiFlow (or an older version) you can use the ISO patchers ( https://download.wiimm.de/wiimmfi/patcher/ ) to patch the ISO / WBFS file of your game on your flash drive for Wiimmfi.

Thanks, I've been using normal WiiFlow for a while but I'll switch to Lite, it sounds convenient.
