Hi all,
After getting my 2ds xl I decided that 5 hours on Mario Maker just isn't enough play time. I looked around and saw a DIY 3ds xl charge grip which is the way I've decided to go.
I purchased Anker's Powercore+ Mini and I have a USB cable on the way. I also just happen to have a 3d printer and be proficient in computer aided design.
I don't have a grip on hand and would like suggestions on where to embed the power bank from those who have used one. For reference, the power bank is about 20mm in diameter and 100mm tall. Also note that it has a button next to the USB port which must be pushed before charging will start, so there has to be some way to do this.
I'm also trying to leave space for a possible future addition of a bluetooth audio transmitter, though this is not mandatory.
