Switch Online subscribers can play Mario Tennis Aces free for limited time, with new "game trials"

A better option would be to let you pick any game of your choice to "Demo" for a day/week (or month) and offer a discount on the selected game. Then after the trial finishes, you can pick another game to "Demo" Though to be honest, it would probably be limited to nintendo games. I started to think special offers wouldn't mean much, just give us better discounts. Hardly any games get over %50 off and the ones that do are already a low enough price so the discount doesn't mean much besides saving $2.50

I think Nintendo could keep going a bit longer on NES if they actually got some more licenses and released famicom games for the US service (yeah I know its region free but itd still last things a bit longer). But seriously we need more systems if they're not gonna give online users any switch games. Also higher availability of those NES joycons and more of those in the future ( although once you get to n64 itd be kinda weird)

Yes it's the full game, not a traditional demo

But ultimately if the whole point is to get people to buy it - a bigger audience is a better idea

I do not really get their 3DS politique of demos with opening counter. Now their idea that more players buy sub. to play limited demos. They have no ideas.

Sony and Micro give away 2 or 3 games per month. This is nice, but still not ok, Nintendo.

"Pick any game of your choice ... for a ... month". Good news, this already exists! It's called software piracy. This idea is so bad for Nintendo it's hilarious.

Bad Servers != Bad Net Code
I'm sure their servers are fine, it's the p2p netcode that's the issue.

No ones gonna talk about Nintendo trolling gamers yesterday? Their official YouTube channel had an announcement of mother trilogy for the Nintendo switch. Unfortunately at the end of the trailer, they revealed they were joking!

I am not paying a suscription just to play Mario Kart online and play Nes games. And while I have Smash Bross for Switch, the fact there is no story mode really shows.

Being able to play a demo for a while won't change my mind.

With emulators and the Mother 3 english patch, you can play all three games in your PC..There is even an English patch for the Mother 1 part of the Mother 1&2 GBA game.

Having the games uncensored and with updated graphics would be great but whatever.

they're actually offering you less than in the past. In the past you didn't need to be a subscriber to enjoy trials wich have been a thing for years already and isn't anything new like they're claiming. Instead now they're locking it behind a paywall so in that regard they were offering you an entire arm before but are only giving you an hand now.

I have never played earthbound/mother. Video game boards/forms not talking at all about Nintendo trolling, I find weird.
