Nicely done but I will wait for Final Fantasy 7 remake in March 2020 then.

Dont hold your breath because a release date for this means absolutley F*** all. They can just pull the date back when they feel like it.
What they need to do as i stated in another post is give us a release date when completion is near.

@thuggothic Yes it’s a simple copy and paste over the old version of the project. It won’t affect save data in any form. it fixes and adds a lot of new content. HD battle backgrounds, New Avatars/Menu logos, New HD cutscene movies, adds in the remaining HD weapons for caithsith and yuffie, etc etc. think of it as the final release for content. If any other future releases are dropped they will just be slightly smoothing out some existing models quality etc.

Just a quick question do you find that x3 speed dont work and at times its very laggy. Using sxos i just moved the romfs file and my music file in sxos directory.

I doubt this would be the final release because better Nintendo switch is coming out so wait till that gets hacked and ff7 for it to be more refined.. Also with the remake im sure the old CGI will be replaced by the new ones.

@badman112 I highly recommend Atmosphere for anyone willing to switch. The overclock on the CFW for this project makes everything run amazing and perfect creating a very stable build. I have no experience with SXOS but without the overclock the project will be affected. @perico1986 the PC version is coming and being worked on by Fewtch join our discord to follow that progress. But this Switch version of the project can also be used on PC. All you have to do is take the Char.lgp, Battle.lgp, and Magic.lgp and drop it into your PC version replacing your old LGP’s and you are set you have the Switch version running on the PC. Take note though, this Switch build of the project has been scaled down to run on the hardware and specs of the Switch. Meaning the quality won’t be the best when ran on the PC.

YES I HAVE ALREADY DONE IT. IN SWITCH IT IS PERFECT. BUT I HAVE NOTED ON THE PC AS THE TEXTURES OF SOME NPC THE QUALITY OF THE TEXTURES HAD BEEN REDUCED

@Arolandis The only reason I’ve not replaced the backgrounds is because the base version of FF7 has a max file size cap on the LGP’s correlating to the exe. With aali’s drivers on PC that’s been by passed, but currently on the Switch version nobody has yet converted over the drivers to work, or created something that can do the same thing. Leaving me with this massive project to fit into that little 2gb per LGP limit. So the backgrounds and such will stay vanilla. but honestly, on the Switch version especially in handheld mode like we all will most likely prefer to play this project, the vanilla backgrounds don’t look bad at all. But that’s the only reason that hasn’t been done yet. If someone breaks that cap I’ll then add upscaled backgrounds field and battle to the project.
couldnt you trick upscale like using a plugin to upscale soften and/or sharpen

My first black out at wall mart tried to get the diamond tiara where you have to sleep at the inn while cloud has to dress as a woman and after the sleeping in music finishes black screen.

Staying at wall mart inn causes black out for me.

At the end right before Jenova/Sephiroth and was hoping I could avoid the crash, sadly I cannot, illI finish the rest without the mod active

Good work overall, loved the new look

@badman112 I tested the wall market scene myself today and had a few others do the same and we all didn’t have any issues. Some of those people were running SXOS CFW as well. You didn’t use the x3 tool when doing this scene or some scenes before did you? If you read the readme included in the project I noted that use of the x3 tool is a gamble, sometimes it works perfect and you can play 12+ hrs with no issues running it and other times you can use it for 5mins and get a random crash. The tool offsets the games natural balance with this HD project already putting strain on the Switch. @thuggothic I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend. But what was the issue you experienced before the final Jenova and Sephiroth fight? That’s another issue I’ve tested more than a handful of times me and a ton of others and haven’t had any issues. The only error I ever experienced which I also noted in the readme was an error once again from using the x3 tool in advance before entering the crater. Once entered I’d go down the highwind ladder to head towards the crater and my game would crash. The fix I found for this was if I was using the x3 tool before entering the crater, I’d save my game right before descending and then close and re open my save then descend. Then I didn’t have any issues.

Awesome job, thank you for making this!

My only question is if there is a way to verify if sys-clk is actually running and if it's found and using the config file? I dropped the config you provided into \config\sys-clock\ and replaced the sample they had provided in their release, but just curious how to make sure it's actually being applied
