Just joking. I agree with you, there's a lot of work in this (especially the first frame, amazing!). Of course, someone's not going to get the joke, if he doesn't know the reference. I didn't get it either until it was explained. Cultural backgrounds dictate how such a joke is perceived. But I appreciate it all the same.
