I've been planing to port Sora FC/SC/3rd PC changes to PSP. I just need time and motivation to take a look at the script files, add support to EDDecompiler, and use string manipulation to convert the PC script to PSP script.

That won't happen in the next month. However, after that, I will definitely have time to work on programming projects.

This is probably not the best place to ask but are the guides/walkthroughs for FC SC and the 3rd usable for their evolution versions? Or are there too many changes/additions that make them unusable?

Yes, the PC/PSP guides are still usable for the most part. You will just into minor differences once in a while, like different chest items. Unless you want to use walkthroughs for boss strategies on higher difficulties (on Normal, most bosses shouldn't be too hard), because the gameplay/balance adjustments might change the optimal strategies.

One notable difference in the 3rd is that the requirements for Sun Door 5 have changed -- those have been posted earlier in this thread.

I remember reading something about sun door 3, would you be able to clarify for me?

I read a while ago that there's an extra character that joins the Cassius+Loewe fight, is this exlusive to NG+ or playing on nightmare difficulty? Or was this just a myth?

Also about star door 15

What was changed about it in the original Evo release? I've seen the scene on the PC version so I'm guessing they might have toned the implied themes down a notch?

NG+ exclusive. I don't believe nightmare difficulty is required. In NG+ chapter 6, after you fight a stronger version of Schwarzritter, you can pick up an item called Eisenritter Proof (apparently if you miss this then you won't be able to access the bonus boss). If you go to Sun Door 3 with that item in hand and select Nightmare Arena, you will be given the option to fight the bonus boss. That's what a Japanese walkthrough says, I haven't done this myself.

They cut the entire scene with Renne's past. You can watch the Japanese version here. It's simply much shorter than the original version.

So about the final boss changes in the Evo version: So as I've read the boss is harder than in the PC version. Foolishly I'm playing on hard and am right before the final dungeon. But now I'm actually quite worried if I'll be able to kill it if that one move is not blockable by earth wall or Kenvin's 1st S-Break. Has anyone managed to kill it on hard? Who should I level up the most to hav the perfect party for this?

Hi, I recommend making an extra save file before the final boss battles

Personally, I used Richard (he's strong, fast, has Impede skills) and Joshua (also a fast and heavy hitter) or Richard and Scherazard (Schera has a AT Advance skill that will help giving your team mates an extra turn).

Try to lv up all your teamates above lv 135 and give them the best Quartz (mostly Gems) and the best equipments.

Also Grail Locket's will help a lot !

You'll need to destroy the pillars quickly with specific art elements before they use that charge beam.

Lastly, you can lower the bosses's difficulty (EVO) every time your team dies to make the battle a bit easier.

Can I lower the bosse's difficulty on hard though? I haven't seen the option on any boss on hard yet. Are you sure? Even the

fight was mandatory on hard (couldn't be skipped) as compared to in on normal (at least on PC) it gave you an option to give up/skip it.

I have a problem with Sun Door 5. Supposedly I have all level 6 gems, but the door doesn't open. I have

Taurus Gem
Pisces Gem
Leo Gem
Virgo Gem
Libra Gem
Capricorn Gem
Aries Gem
Sagitarius Gem
Scorpio Gem
Ophiuchus Gem

Is one missing? Or should I have them equipped?

Edit: searched EVERYWHERE now for a chest I might have missed. The only thing I can think of is the fishing minigame sun door which I didn't finish completly (missing the last one). But since this door is acessable very early in the game I don't believe this would award you a level 6 Quartz.

This is a bit off topic, but I did not no where else to ask,
How difficult would it be to make a cheat that disables the 'Zero-CP' turns in Trails 1-3 evolution?

I figure since it's random, the check must have something to do with memory, so I don't think modding the files would be required.

I really like evo, but free s-crafts just seems like a bit much, imo.

(I have no self control, I can't just not use it when I see it show up.)

I found the last missing gem and have seen the door now, but: I f***** up by choosing hard in the first place. The final bosses are basically impossible for me to beat since the 3 other parties I am forced to use are all too weak since I've put the best Quartz and items on the final boss party. The bosses for the first two parties were pretty hard but doable since these two partoes are slightly more powerful, but the third boss before the final confrontation (the dragon) is basically impossible for the party (Renne, Julia, Zin, Richard) I have to beat him with, even used 7 Zeram Capsules before he killed me completely. Everyone is level 140, so level wise there is not much to do even if I could. Sadly I saved before opening the big door with Kevin's party. So I'm stuck now. Should have known what a nighmare the final boss run is, since I've already beaten the game on the PC before... Damn.

Could someone for Aidios' sake pls upload a save before the final boss on normal difficulty?

Hi, now this might leave a weird impression since i am a new member and i actually finished FC & SC, but first, thank you The Database thank you guys, the first two games are really amazing...
FC was easy to install since i found a simple VPK, SC was a bit harder for me but with maidumptool i managed to install the game they were easy to install compared to this one.

i found the game somewhere and it works but in jap of course, but now im stuck @ step 4 and i cannot find the game in FAGDec!, please help

Did you try having 2 members spamming earth wall? Still on FC evo so I can't say for certain if it works but thats what I did during my TC PC hard playthrough.

Also where did you find that last gem?

I found it at the Monochromatic Schoolhouse dungeon.

Edit: I've just beaten the game... Loaded an older save before the dungeon and leveled everyone up to level 145. At this level the bosses were a pushover. I feel a little bit ashamed to have wanted to give up and use some else's normal save after I went through the game on hard. Glad I didn't do it. Even the true final boss was managable. Though the Grail Sphere/Earth Wall strategy from the PC version didn't work, even the first attack when the pillars still stood went through the guard unlike in the PC version (at least I remember using that strategy in the PC version). In the final quarter I had to rush him with S-Crafts after S-Crafts (I've eaten Zeram Capsules like they were candy XD). It was a close one, but after few tries the boss on hard wasn't too bad at level 145.

Are ths first two games already translated cause I just had my vita a few days ago cause it was on 3.70 and downgraded to 3.68. Is it possible to install this and the two first games on my vita even though it is a 3.68 and hacked. I really love this series and want to play the games in order.

How are you supposed to beat the final boss?

When it gets to about 40% HP it starts charging a Craft that wipes my entire party, no exceptions on Nightmare.

On the PC version you could just block this with Earth Wall or Grail Sphere and that was it, but here it has so much HP that you can't reasonably burst kill it before the Craft comes out and the attack nullifies all Max Guards.

My party is at level 144/145 with the best equipment you can possibly get, and the best quartz available and even with 50% buffed defenses it easily one shots everybody.

EDIT: I finally got it, I had to load my save and just pump up Joshua's HP and Physical Defense as high as I could.
