I currently have my switch set up running both sxos (which it came with when I bought it) and atmosphere which I just installed and can happily dual boot in to either.

All games run fine in sxos, but I have a handful of games that refuse to boot in atmosphere even though they do in sxos. I get the corrupt data message and I can't start them. What am I doing wrong with these games?

I really like atmosphere as am really impressed with freebird overclock but until I can figure out why some games aren't booting I figure I'm having to go back to sxos to play some games.

Have you downloaded the Sig patches for atmosphere? Atmosphere needs sig patches to run games.

What I mean is how to transfer or convert from exfat to fat32 as everyone is telling me to do.

Just copy and paste the folders or something else I have to do?

You can copy paste everything from the SD card, however if you gave larger files you will not be able to transfer them onto fat32 due to file size restriction.

im very new to all of this. I accidentally updated to switch version 8.0. Is there a way to downgrade. If not is there a chance for custom firmware to be on 8.00?

You can only downgrade if you have a previous nand backup & you have not burned any fuses. If not you will have to wait untill cfw is compatible with 8.0

Hey,

Just wondering about updates. I am currently using sx os on 7.0.1 fw. When I go to start some games, I get a pop-up asking me to install updates. I keep wi-fi turned off on the switch so I'm guessing there's no harm if I ever accidentally click update is there? Just making sure no type of update files or anything in the xci files could mess anything up.

Thank's

As long as there are no active Wi-Fi settings stored in the console, you can try pressing the update button but if you can play the game without updating, no reason to press it in the first place.

The Update to 7.0.1 went great :-)

Now for my example - my OFW Smash is on 2.0.2 - my CFW Smash is on 1.0....

There is this feature to update the version with local users - will this update the game only or will it also enforce a Firmware Update? Had anyone tried that?

Would be really bad if it accidentally updates my CFW to 8.0.0 because it "can"

Think it will force you to update with what ever firmware the other system is on.

Hello. Ever since I installed the new smash update(version 3.0.0) and the DLC for Joker, the game now crashes after the title screen. My switch is currently on version 6.2.0.

So, I have a fusee gelee (that's the joycon rail short thing, right?) exploitable switch. I have an autoRCM setup now, but honestly, it's just inconvenient to have to deal with it all the time, and wait for updates.

Since I'm not finding a lot of value in having autoRCM enabled now, I'm tempted to just to disable autoRCM and update my Switch to the latest OFW.

If I ever decide I want to go back to CFW, what steps would be taken? What am I sacrificing by going to the latest OFW that I would otherwise have if I continued to keep my Switch in a hacked state?

If there's no real losses to re-hacking again later, I may just go ahead and go through with it.
